There are so many great restaurants to try in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, I decided this topic needed its own blog post! So here you have it, I’ve compiled a list of the best places to eat in Jackson Hole.
I know, you might think with so many fun, adventurous things to do in this mountain region, both in the summer and winter, who cares about eating?! But I can tell you one thing for sure. After you spend a day skiing or boarding on the slopes in the wintertime, or hiking in the Grand Tetons National Park in the summertime, you will have worked up quite an appetite.
After numerous recent trips to Jackson Hole in both the summer and winter, I’m ready to share my list of the best places to eat in Jackson Hole, Wyoming so you don’t have to do the legwork. I’m also including the best spots for coffee, breakfast, and aprés ski after a day of adventure on the mountain.
So if you are planning a trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, bookmark this post! It will come in handy when its time to eat and you’re too hungry to figure it out on your own. (Trust me, nobody likes a hangry person!)

A Quick Primer on Jackson vs Jackson Hole, Wyoming
Jackson Hole is the name of the entire valley or ‘hole’ in the region. It includes the towns of Jackson, Teton Village (where the Jackson Hole Mountain resort is located), Moose, Wilson, and others.
Jackson, the biggest town in Jackson Hole, is one of the oldest incorporated towns in the region and is what most people think of when they think of Jackson Hole. It’s where the town square is located with the arcs of antlers at each corner. (See the photo above.)
In case you are curious, the town and the region are both named after Davey Jackson, a nineteenth-century, European fur trapper. He was one of the first Europeans to spend a winter in the valley.
For the purposes of this post, I will mostly share the best places to eat that are located either in Jackson, or in the Village, where the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is located.
The Best Places for Coffee, Pastries, and Breakfast in Jackson Hole
Persephone Bakery – One of the best places to eat in Jackson Hole, this French bakery serving breakfast, lunch, specialty coffees and amazing pastries. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Jackson. It’s a true gem!
Inversion Cafe – Connected to a yoga and fitness studio, this take-out cafe serves sustainable, healthy smoothies, coffees and matchas, gluten-free and vegan pastries and snacks, and a small selection of healthy prepared foods.
Cafe Genevieve – American style food served in a log cabin with a front porch and outdoor seating area. Their breakfast and brunch options are formidable with options like Fried Chicken & Waffles, Cheesy Bacon Grits & Eggs, and my personal favorite, the Huevos Con Chile Verde.
Cowboy Coffee Co. – This is the spot that locals and tourists alike flock to for early morning specialty coffees and breakfast sandwiches and wraps. My husband and I love this place and hit it up at least a couple of times when we are in town.
The Best Places to Eat in Jackson Hole, Wyoming
King Sushi – A great place for rolls and noodles in a rustic cabin setting, but don’t let the modest space fool you. This restaurant serves some of the best sushi I have ever had. Book in advance because the restaurant is tiny and reservations go fast.
Coelette – A beautiful, upscale restaurant serving local fare with an Asian and European twist. It’s also a great place for a drink at the bar.
Annie’s Thai Kitchen – Delicious and affordable Thai food. This is a great spot for a casual dinner or if you want to do takeout.
Snake River Grill – New American dishes served in an elevated setting with a fireplace and cozy bar. The prices will set you back but it’s worth it for the impeccable meat-forward dishes they serve.
The Kitchen – A restaurant in a modern space serving elevated American fare using seasonal ingredients.
Glorietta Trattoria – I definitely think this is one of the best places to eat in Jackson Hole. The restaurant serves rustic, Italian food in a very cool setting. Make your reservations in advance if you want to eat here!
Teton Tiger – A hip spot for pan-Asian fusion fare. It’s a good spot for larger groups and I still dream about the butter curry we had here!
Kampai – If you can’t get into King Sushi, and you don’t mind paying a premium, head to Kampai, the other Japanese restaurant in town. If it’s summertime, ask to sit on their rooftop terrace.
Piste – You have to take a gondola to get to this restaurant, but it’s worth it! Located towards the top of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in the village, this fine dining experience with unimpeded views of the valley is hard to beat for a special night out.
RPK3 – If it’s wintertime and you want a nicer lunch than what the typical lodges offer, head to RPK3 at the base of the mountain. The interior feels like a Swiss lodge and the food is delicious.
Westbank Grill – Located within the Four Seasons Resort at the base of the mountain in the village, this steakhouse is posh, but would you expect anything less from a restaurant located within the Four Seasons?
The Best Bars, Breweries, and Live Music in Jackson Hole
Stillwest Brewery and Grill – Located right at the base of Snow King (the small, mountain resort in the town of Jackson), this brewery hits the spot for casual fare including burgers, salads, and many selections of beer.
Million Dollar Cowboy Bar – Probably the most popular bar in Jackson, and for good reason. The vibe is straight up kitschy-western, from the famous horse saddle bar stools, to the crowds line dancing to live music. It’s a must-see when you’re in town.
Mangy Moose Restaurant & Saloon – This is the place for apres ski at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Come for the scene and stay for the cheap drinks.

If there is one thing I’m particular about when I travel, it’s food. Not every meal has to be high-end and impeccable, but it’s always good to get recommendations from a trusted source. I promise you that this list is a good one!
I have been to Jackson Hole, Wyoming 4, times within the past year. (It helps when you have a close friend who moved there during the Pandemic!) She has introduced me to a lot of these restaurants and I have eaten at many of them more than once. That’s how good they are!
