Things to Do in November: The Monthly Round-Up

It’s a bit strange to be writing about things to do in November while sitting in a café in balmy and humid Chennai, India.

If I was in New York right now, I’m sure I’d be wearing a chunky wool sweater, sipping a Matcha latte in a cozy cafe, and lamenting the fact that November is the month when the sun starts to set way too early for my liking.

But instead, I’m in India, sitting here in a summer dress and flip-flops.

I’m not complaining!

It’s nice to be in eighty-five-degree weather in November. 🙂

But I’m also feeling some nostalgia for what it’s like back home this time of year.

The leaves are turning colors and everyone’s starting to gear up for the holidays. There’s an exciting energy in the air.

Whether you’re a homebody or you love to get out and explore, there are plenty of fun things to do in November.

Things to do in November

Ok, I’m going to lead off with arguably the biggest thing to do in November (at least in the States), and that’s celebrating Thanksgiving!

My husband and I love hosting during the holidays, so we are sad that we won’t be home this year to celebrate with family and friends.

Living in South India? Then I highly recommend spending a long weekend at this resort, in between Trivandrum and Kanyakumari. It was the perfect place for peace, tranquility, and relaxation.
